How to set up a Chat Widget

Since the chat widget is considered to be a Growth Tool itself, you can go to the Growth Tool tab > Connect your Facebook account > Choose a Facebook page to link to the Widget > Choose Messenger Chat Widget to set up one.

Note: You need to be an admin of the Facebook page to be able to edit the settings of the chat widget. Otherwise, our app will show an error message informing you that you do not have the required permissions.



How to customize a Chat Widget to match your store's theme

First, you need to name your chat widget, choose the page and the device where you want it to be visible.



Next, choose the style for your widget. You can choose from many existing templates or customize the widget yourself. Each change you make will be shown on the preview on the right-hand side.



If you choose to customize the widget, our app enables you to change almost anything, ranging from the icon to the size and color.



If you want the chat widget to always show up on your store like this, you can set the state to be Expanded. If not, you can set it to Collapse so customers only see an icon on your store.



You can also adjust the position and bottom margin of your widget to make sure that it fits your store seamlessly.



Create a greeting message to make your visitors feel valued and keep them engaged with your store.



The welcome message will appear like this.



Finally, press Save and go to your store to view the widget. If you are not satisfied with how it looks, you can always deactivate it and edit the settings.
