Here is the instruction on how to set up chat widget on your website. Let's take a look.

A. Connect Facebook page and set up visibility

First, go to Customer Chat Widget on Socialreply



Then, enable the widget > Choose the Facebook page that you want to connect to the widget. You can switch this page at any time.



Note: You need to be an admin of the Facebook page to be able to edit the settings of the chat widget. Otherwise, our app will show an error message informing you that you do not have the required permissions.

Finally, choose which page on your store you want the widget to be displayed > Choose the device target



B. CUSTOMIZE THE WIDGET TO MATCH YOUR THEME

You can also customize the widget in many ways to match your theme the best.

First, you can choose the icon of the widget on desktop. The first icon will always be the default icon on mobile.



Next, choose the size of the chat widget



Then, choose the default state of your widget to be Expanded or Collapse



If you want the chat widget to always show up on your store like this, you can set the state to be Expanded



If you want the chat widget to only show as an icon, you can set the state to be Collapse

Moreover, you can also customize the color for your chat box easily. At Theme Color > Click Custom Color > Input the color you want for the tab, icon, text, and theme



Finally, you can also adjust the position and bottom margin of your widget to make sure that it fits your store seamlessly.



C. SET UP YOUR GREETING MESSAGE

Create a greeting message to make your visitors feel valued and keep them engaged with your store.



The welcome message will appear like this.



**D. SAVE AND VIEW THE WIDGET ON YOUR STORE**

Press Save and go to your store to view the widget. If you are not satisfied with how it looks, you can always Disable it and set it up again.
